The Linear MDTK is one of Linear's MegaCode series wireless digital keyless entry gate or garage door opener keypad remote controls for use with Linear automatic garage door and gate operator receivers. The Mega Code format of remote controls are factory pre-programmed with one of over 1,000,000 codes, virtually eliminating the possibility of code duplication. Since there are no code switches with this type of keypad, it has to be programmed to the radio receiver or garage door opener for it to work. This Linear MDTK wireless keypad can activate multiple garage door openers or gate receivers by using a different 1-6 digit PIN code for each one. Once the keypad has been programmed to the garage door opener or gate receiver, the user enters their unique PIN code (1 to 6 digits long) on the unit's keypad and presses the START/STOP button to activate the door or gate operator. For up to 30 seconds after the last key activation, the MDTK can be re-triggered by simply pressing the START/STOP button again. This a allows the user to stop or reverse the opener quickly, without having to re-enter their PIN code. The keypad has back illuminated keys for easy nighttime use that illuminate when any key is pressed and turn off after 30 seconds of no activity as well as a hinged flip up cover to protect the keypad when not in use. This is a brand new item that comes from dealer bulk purchase pack. This means that it is wrapped in a plastic bag (no box) and includes 2 mounting screws, battery (installed) and programming instructions.
This keypad will not work with the Delta-3 series of controls that use code switches.
