Offered  here is a Certified Brix Hydrometer manufactured by Bellwether.  This hydrometer is calibrated to show the percent of sugar by weight @ 20 C / 68 F
Also provided is a temperature correction table to allow adjustments to the reading when the temperature differs from the standard temperature.
This is the instrument of choice for checking maple syrup density.  With the correction table provided this hydrometer can be used for both hot and cold tests.
